Sophie faced chronic hip pain and a rare bone defect for years, culminating in a traumatic break in 2018 that threatened her leg and mobility. Despite multiple surgeries and setbacks, she persevered through intense physical therapy, discovering a strength she never knew she had.Her determination paid off with an innovative surgery that successfully repaired her femur, restoring her mobility and allowing her to pursue her dreams. Now studying to become a Physician Assistant at the University of Wyoming, Sophie’s journey is an inspiring testament to resilience and hope in the face of adversity.

Steps to set up a Facebook campaign

Step 1: On your computer, log in to Facebook.

Step 2: On the left, click fundraiser heart coin Fundraisers.

  •  Tip: If you don’t see Fundraisers on the left, then click See more.

Step 3: On the left, click Raise money.

Step 4: Click Nonprofit.

Step 5: You can either:

  • Scroll to find The Limb Preservation Foundation OR
  • Type into the search bar to find The Limb Preservation Foundation

Step 6: Select The Limb Preservation Foundation.

Step 7: On the left, enter:

  • The goal amount of money you want to raise
  • The currency you want the funds to be in

Step 8: Click Create.

Step 9:  You’ll see a screen pop up where you can invite your friends to donate to your fundraiser, share your fundraiser in your feed, or donate to the fundraiser yourself.

  • If you’re not ready to do any of those things, click Not Now.
