Examples of help provided by the Care Package Program:
Comfort
Our care package program includes a quilt, providing warmth and comfort to patients during their challenging times. This quilt serves as a tangible reminder that they are not alone in their journey.
Essentials
Each care package is thoughtfully curated with basic comfort items designed to meet the needs of patients. From personal hygiene products to activities, our goal is to offer practical support that enhances their well-being.
Connections
We believe in the power of connection. Our care packages aim to bring a piece of home to those facing difficult circumstances, helping to uplift spirits and foster a sense of community during treatment.
About care packages
Treatment and recovery from limb surgeries can be traumatic, both physically and emotionally. We created the LPF Limb-Risk Care Package program to lift the spirits of recovering patients experiencing extended periods of bed rest or restricted activity. LPF provides a care package of basic comfort items, including a quilt to help patients feel less alone during this challenging time.
A patient must be in active treatment for a limb-threatening condition related to one of the following and live in the Rocky Mountain Region – Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming:
