Limb Care Connections (LCC)
LCC is a unique monthly program combining educational resources with a more traditional support group. Each session will include a guest speaker on a topic that matters to the limb difference community, followed by a group conversation led by two talented moderators; a licensed psychologist and a patient survivor.

LCC welcomes all active patients at risk of limb loss, survivors, and their family caregivers such as spouses and parents. This group will meet on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 6 pm MST via Zoom.

Meet Our Moderators

Courtney Legge, PsyD
Courtney Legge, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist at Shift Healing Health Psychology, specializing in serving individuals with various health conditions. She completed her doctorate at Midwestern University and trained in primary care behavioral health at Community Health of Central Washington and Denver Health. Legge has focused her early career on implementing integrated behavioral health programs at the University of Colorado, working to strengthen connections between physical and mental healthcare.

Troy Karnes
Meet inspiring moderator, Troy Karnes! Troy’s experience began in the summer of 2021 when he was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma in his right shoulder blade and in the joint. After months of surgery and the removal of his right shoulder blade and joint, he is happy to share that he is cancer-free! His replacement scapula and joint allow him to wrestle with his two young boys, continue practicing yoga, and walk his two dogs with his lovely wife. He works as a business consultant and real estate agent.
