LPF is honored to recognize Mary Katherine Hubbell as the newest member of our Future Steps Society. Mary left a generous donation to the LPF in her will when she passed away in 2022.
“Mary felt very strongly about the LPF and made arrangements for a final gift to help make sure LPF could continue serving patients,” notes Mary’s nephew Jim Hawkinson.
Mary worked closely with LPF’s founders. She was an occupational therapist and established The Center for Hand Rehabilitation Therapy in three Colorado locations.
“She was always focused on her patients and had a passion for education to stay current with developments in rehabilitation and limb preservation. LPF truly meant a great deal to her,” added Jim.
Mary is described as a person who was strong, independent, humble, driven, caring, kind, compassionate and a beautiful person inside and out. We express our heartfelt thanks to Mary and her family for her support which will help many current patients experiencing limb-threatening situations.
