The Bloom Again Fund

Bloom Again: The Molly Bloom Foundation joins forces with The Limb Preservation Foundation.

The Limb Preservation Foundation is honored to share Molly's wishes of enhancing the quality of life for individuals in the Rocky Mountain Region who have encountered a serious extremity illness or injury so that they may enjoy renewed self-confidence, independence, or recovery through physical activities and sports through the Bloom Again Fund.

On Saturday, May 13, 2006, Molly Bloom was severely injured while entering a limo at her senior prom. Molly had to undergo numerous surgeries, including the amputation of her pelvis and leg. She spent several long, arduous months in the hospital recovering from this accident.

Molly was a stand-out swimmer on the East High School swim team in Denver. Molly has been able to return to the pool and the sport she loves, in addition to the pursuit of several other new activities.
