The Limb Preservation Foundation volunteers are an important part of our organization. Working as one team, we create hope, help and possibilities for patients facing limb threatening conditions.
Volunteering provides each of us with unique benefits. Some of us volunteer to help build stronger communities, while others want to improve their skills and discover new routes to personal and professional development. To ensure your volunteer experience is a great one, we help find the perfect role for each volunteer based on The Foundation’s needs and your individual strengths and passions. Opportunities can range from visiting with patients recovering in the hospital, to help with fundraising events!
Things to consider when pursuing a volunteer position:
- What are the skills, interests and experience that you would like to share?
- What issues are important to you?
- What experience are you hoping to gain?
- Would you like to work on your own or with other people?
- How much time are you able to commit?
